PureMIDI

PureMIDI is an AI-based tool that converts MP3, WAV, and other audio formats, as well as video soundtracks and sheet music PDFs, into editable MIDI files for use in any digital audio workstation (DAW). Users can upload files up to 25 MB and receive a free 30-second MIDI preview before purchasing full conversions using credits.

The service detects pitch, timing, and note velocity, providing editable MIDI drafts that can be refined further in the online piano-roll editor or imported into software like Logic Pro or Ableton Live. PureMIDI supports single melody lines or full multi-instrument songs and offers sheet music recognition through AI to convert scanned scores or PDFs into MIDI or MusicXML files.
