StackQL MCP Server

StackQL is an open-source engine that exposes cloud and SaaS provider APIs as SQL resources. The StackQL MCP server gives Claude access to that engine, so one server covers AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, GitHub, Okta, Databricks, Snowflake and multiple other providers, with no per-provider MCP servers needed.

It is self-discoverable. Claude can list providers, services, resources and methods, and describe their schemas, before it writes a query. Provider definitions are pulled from the StackQL registry on demand. SELECT queries run separately from mutation and lifecycle operations, so you control what Claude can read and what it can change.

It is built for platform engineers, SREs, security and FinOps teams, and anyone running agentic ops across more than one cloud. Typical uses are inventory, CSPM and entitlement audits, cost reviews, drift detection and provisioning.
