Setup

Next.js DevTools runs locally and connects to the MCP endpoint exposed by a running Next.js 16 or newer development server. Its current focus is runtime errors, routes and logs. Older documentation and migration workflows have moved to separate agent skills.

Setup information was checked against the publisher’s documentation on October 23, 2026. We have not run an end-to-end installation test. Use the publisher’s setup instructions below.
