AWSEL (أوصل, Arabic for "I connect") is a family of three MCP connectors that link AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT to the accounting systems businesses in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf already use: Qoyod, Daftra and Wafeq.

Send an invoice photo or PDF in your chat, and the connector turns it into a draft entry in your accounting system. Everything stays a draft until a human reviews and approves it: the system's own document numbering is preserved, VAT and totals are checked, and duplicates are detected before saving. Each connector ships with its own tool set (27 tools for Qoyod, 16 for Daftra, 17 for Wafeq) and a 14-day free trial, no card required.

How it was built with Claude

The whole family was built with Claude Code: three FastAPI-based MCP connector services (OAuth, Stripe billing, per-system tool sets for Qoyod, Daftra and Wafeq), the bilingual marketing site, the DNS and domain setup — and even this launch submission. Claude also powers the product itself: each connector is a remote MCP server that Claude calls to read invoice images and draft accounting entries for human review.
