About QuanterLab
QuanterLab is a backtesting tool for anyone with a trading idea. Describe a rule in words, in Claude, in ChatGPT or in the lab, and it runs as a circuit of cards: the result shows how the rule did against simply holding, with its worst fall and its trades.
The tests use point-in-time data (prices, fundamentals as they were reported, index members as they stood on each date), nothing looks ahead, and a walk-forward checks each result on years it never saw. Every run is a simulation: QuanterLab places no orders and moves no money.
Try first: ask Claude or ChatGPT "@QuanterLab test buying SPY when its 2-day RSI falls below 10, against simply holding SPY".
How it was built with Claude
QuanterLab's connector and plugin run inside Claude, and the lab's own assistant runs on Claude.

Overview
Who is it for?
Anyone with a trading idea who wants to know whether it would have worked, from a first test to people who run systematic strategies.
Problem
Most backtests look better than they would ever trade: tuned on the same years they are judged on, run on today's index members, and never set next to simply holding.
Solution
Describe a rule in words in Claude, ChatGPT or the lab. QuanterLab builds it from cards, runs it on point-in-time data, checks it on years it never saw and shows it against simply holding.
What makes it unique
It works inside the assistant you already use, every result is checked with a walk-forward on unseen years, and the data is point in time: index members as they stood, fundamentals as they were reported.
