Web-Algebra: Composable RDF operations system for Linked Data and SPARQL management
Hi everyone, I'm Martynas, founder of AtomGraph, and I built Web-Algebra.
Why I built it I wanted Claude to work with RDF and Linked Data, which means reading, querying and writing it, and building apps on LinkedDataHub. One tool call at a time wasn't enough for that. Web-Algebra lets an agent compose a whole workflow as one plan of nested operations and run it in one step.
What it does
- MCP tools for Linked Data over HTTP (GET, PUT, POST, PATCH) and SPARQL (SELECT, CONSTRUCT, DESCRIBE)
- LinkedDataHub operations: containers, items, content blocks, views, ontology extraction
- JSON plans with ForEach over query results, run by the execution engine
- Install with
uvx --from web-algebra web-algebra-mcp
I'd love your feedback on Which Linked Data operations or SPARQL endpoints you'd want to use from Claude, and where composing a plan beat calling tools one by one for you (or didn't).
