Tafla, calculations you can understand and trust: Hand Claude's calculation to Tafla and get a link to a walkthrough of the math
Hi, I built Tafla. You can ask math questions and have the results explained on a whiteboard instead of in a traditional chat, similar to how a teacher would walk you through a problem in a classroom.
LLMs have struggled with math. They've gotten better over time, but I, and many people I know, still have a hard time trusting their calculations. And that's where showing the work becomes important. If you can follow how something was calculated, you have a much better chance of catching mistakes and trusting the result. So with Tafla, an LLM builds out a calculation model as an artifact in a calculation engine, triggers the calculation and then narrates the results. The LLM builds the model but leaves the actual calculations to the engine.
It's free to use. Try asking Tafla a math problem you think of and if you feel comfortable sharing, I'd love to see what you make. How do you feel about this way of presenting AI calculations?
